Grounded in current labor market trends and regional data, this session will explore key workforce dynamics shaping the region, including participation gaps, retirements, migration patterns, and talent alignment challenges. Participants will be introduced to three critical workforce levers: Participation, Retention, and Migration, and practical strategies employers and community partners can consider to better connect talent with opportunity and strengthen regional economic competitiveness.

Join The Dayton Foundation President Mike Parks, Employers' Workforce Coalition Executive Director Joe Sciabica, and Montgomery County Educational Service Center Executive-on-Loan Sandi Preiss for a discussion on how workforce challenges across the Greater Dayton region are shifting despite continued investment and low unemployment.

The discussion will also highlight the work of the Employers' Workforce Coalition, a strategic initiative of The Dayton Foundation focused on aligning employers, education, workforce, and community partners around shared workforce priorities.
